It’s been a busy and productive summer.
First off, with three other group leaders, I traveled to Rome and the Amalfi Coast with students, many of whom participate in my writing classes at Chase Collegiate School. It’s always a treat to “see” through the students’ eyes, especially when those eyes recognize a place or person who relates to their own reading and work. Many thanks to all who made the trip fun and memorable. A special “Grazie” to family and friends in my family’s native Frigento.
Upon our return to the States, Mark Twain House, Hartford, Connecticut, http://www.marktwainhouse.org was home to three writers who “jump started” their novels-in-draft with me. I’m looking forward to continuing our evening workshop together in the coming months at The Writers’ House at Chase Collegiate School.
Very exciting has been my association with Penmore Press http://www.penmorepress.com, who will be releasing my third novel, Orla’s Canvas, on October 1, 2015.
Pre-order copies in e-book and paperback formats are now available at http://www.amazon.com
Check out http://www.penmorepress.com to read very gratifying pre-publication reviews.
That’s it for now.
Enjoy the remaining days of summer,
